Release notes for user-facing InBlack surfaces and this guide, newest first.

2026-07-10 - Platform contract documentation refresh

Changed - PLA-1421, PLA-1422, PLA-1423, PLA-1424

Reconciled the public guide with the current platform source and checked-in contracts.

  • Regenerated the canonical MCP catalog and per-pillar references.
  • Added generated GraphQL and HTTP route references, with public and internal classifications.
  • Corrected MCP runtime, authentication, visibility, errors, quotas, API origins, webhooks, Storefront SDK, AuditCore, and custom-field behavior.
  • Reconciled all current SPA routes with a canonical operator guide or an explicit exclusion.
  • Added missing Accounting and Commerce workflows and refreshed Portal, Studio, Customer 360, Reporting, and accountant guidance.
  • Added source-reference, link, publication-status, UI-route, platform-contract, and MCP freshness checks to local and CI validation.

This entry documents guide changes only. It does not announce a new platform deployment.

2026-05-30 - Initial documentation cut

Added - Documentation

Initial guide structure for the SMB operator, accountant, developer, and platform audiences across the six product pillars.

Changelog policy

Add an entry in the same pull request whenever a release changes a user-facing route, MCP tool contract, supported public API, webhook shape, entitlement, integration, or documented workflow. Internal refactors and typo-only edits do not need entries.

Use these labels consistently:

  • Added for a new supported capability.
  • Changed for a behavior or contract update.
  • Deprecated before a supported surface is removed.
  • Removed when the deprecation window ends.
  • Fixed when documented behavior is restored.
  • Security for a customer-relevant advisory.

InBlack deploys continuously, so entries use release dates. Versioned public protocols retain their own manifest or path versions.
