Projects
The Projects route at /dimensions/projects is currently a UI preview backed by fixed MOCK_PROJECTS data. It is separate from the persisted Jobs workflow.
The page demonstrates status filters, cards, a budget progress bar, detail tabs, and a create/edit drawer. Its displayed spend, budget, customer, dates, transaction counts, invoices, expenses, time, and P&L are not loaded from tenant records.
Selecting Create or Save Changes only closes the drawer. The page does not persist project records, attribute journal activity, enforce a budget, or configure AI alerts. The current Accounting GraphQL schema and MCP catalog do not publish this project catalog-management contract.
Do not use the warning bar as a financial control: its 85-percent and over-budget states are visual calculations over mock values only.
Projects vs jobs
Use Jobs for supported customer work, milestones, billable time, and invoicing. Do not use this preview route as a substitute for Jobs or company Budgets.
