Sharing a report
Create external report links from Accounting > Client Portal > Shared Links. Links are scoped to the active tenant at creation time.
Create and manage
Choose Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Trial Balance, or Dashboard. Range reports require start and end dates; as-of reports require one date. Expiry and password are optional. After creation, copy or open the share URL from the table and revoke it when access should end.
The table shows report context, expiry, password status, view count, and active, expired, or revoked state. Treat the URL as a credential and prefer a password and finite expiry for sensitive data.
Recipient experience
The public report page requires no InBlack user session. It rejects missing, revoked, or expired tokens. Password-protected links must be unlocked and use a short-lived access grant to load data. The page renders a read-only version of the supported report.
The current MCP catalog does not expose shared-report link management tools. Use the authenticated Accounting UI or GraphQL operations.
