Product templates

Product templates store reusable defaults for catalog creation.

Create a template with a name, optional description, Simple, Variable, Bundle, or Assembly product type, and Draft or Active status. The list supports opening, duplicating with a new name, and deleting after confirmation.

The detail page edits template identity, default product fields, tags, SEO templates, options, variants, and other supported defaults. Save changes before leaving. Deleting a template is permanent but does not delete products already created from it.

Templates are also available from the Catalog product-creation flow. Review generated SKUs, prices, variants, and brand assignments before creating a product from a template.
