Collections organize products for merchandising and targeting.
Manage collections
The list can be searched, filtered by active, draft, or archived status, and paginated. Create a collection with a name, slug, description, type, and status. Types are Manual, Smart, and Brand.
Open a collection to edit its metadata. Manual curation supports adding active products, removing products, and drag-based reordering. Archive moves the collection out of active use while retaining the record.
Collection membership can affect storefront navigation and collection-targeted discounts. Review those consumers before removing products or archiving a collection.
Use the generated Commerce MCP reference for exact supported collection tools; do not infer detail or archive names from the UI labels.
