Commerce settings

Commerce settings at /settings groups Modules, Notifications, Channels, Payments, Inventory, and Organization controls. The current screen mixes persisted settings with interface previews; only rely on controls documented as persisted below.

Persisted controls

Notifications

The page loads and saves:

  • Recipient email address
  • New-order email
  • Low-stock email and threshold
  • Failed-sync email
  • Daily-summary email

Change the toggles or values and select Save Notification Settings. The page calls updateNotificationPreferences and reports success or failure.

The visible Test buttons are not wired to the testNotification mutation in the current page.

Default warehouse

Under Inventory, choose the default warehouse used for new inventory and fulfillment. The selector loads warehouses and persists immediately with setDefaultWarehouse. If the mutation fails, the previous selection is restored.

Interface-only controls

The following controls currently update local page state or are static previews; navigating away discards their values:

  • Module enable/disable switches and Reset all
  • Channel sync defaults and Save Defaults
  • Payment gateway switches, connect button, primary gateway, and Save Gateway Settings
  • Inventory automation switches, thresholds, Run Reorder Drafts Now, and Save Inventory Automation

The Commerce API has payment, Stripe Connect, inventory-automation, and customer-auth operations, but this Settings component does not call them. Use the dedicated supported workflow rather than treating these preview controls as saved configuration.

Organization information on this page is informational and directs tenant-wide branding management to Portal.

Search matches module names, descriptions, tiers, and category keywords. It highlights matching categories and moves to the first match; it does not query server-side settings.
