Product review moderation
The Reviews page at /reviews is the owner/admin moderation queue for first-party product reviews. It includes customer and moderation details that are not part of a public storefront review shape.
Review queue
Use the All, Pending, Approved, Rejected, and Spam tabs to filter by lifecycle status. The page loads 20 newest reviews at a time and provides previous/next paging.
Each row shows rating, title or body excerpt, author, verified-purchase state, moderation status, and submission date.
Inspect a review
Select a row to see:
- Full title, body, rating, and author
- Customer and product IDs
- Verified-purchase state
- Submission timestamp
- Current moderation reason and internal note
- The product’s approved-review average, total, and rating distribution
The product summary counts approved reviews only. A product with no approved reviews returns zero totals and a zero average.
Moderate
- Optionally choose a reason code: Spam, Offensive / abusive, Off-topic, Inauthentic / fake, or Other.
- Optionally enter an internal moderator note.
- Select Approve, Reject, or Mark spam.
The API records the acting administrator and moderation timestamp. Moderation decisions are terminal: the mutation accepts APPROVED, REJECTED, or SPAM, but not PENDING. The current UI therefore does not return a decided review to the pending queue.
All list, summary, and moderation operations on this administrative surface require authenticated owner/admin access.
